Valley Womens Clinic - Blacksburg

They have a 15 minute late policy which they do not inform you about. I made an appointment and asked that I would receive an appointment reminder to my email because I have no phone service. They agreed and said that was standard. They never sent one. I called for several days ahead of my appointment to confirm the time and location and got no answer at all. I finally got ahold of them the morning of my appointment and found out that they scheduled me at the location in Blacksburg. I told them I would be running late and the person I spoke to said it wouldn’t be an issue. I drove 30 minutes to get there, couldn’t find it because the office is hidden behind several other businesses, and ended up being 24 minutes late and they would not see me. So I turned around and drove another 30 minutes home. I wasted over an hour of my morning because this office is highly unorganized and uncoordinated, as well as lack compassion, which is insane considering what kind of work they do.

I got my test results back in time. However, I felt judged by the nurse that helped me. I do not think that was her intention, but she did end up making me feel a bit ashamed and embarrassed about my history at times. It felt as if they were pushing their agenda on to me rather than aiding in my own agenda. The client advocate, or whatever she was, was extremely caring, sweet, understanding, and helpful. I forgot her name, but she was great! The only issue I had was concerning the nurse, which was enough for me to not come back.

All the staff was very nice and welcoming. They are licensed doctors as well as nurses. Myself being a nurse would know. Honestly they did not try to persuade me on any of my choices or opinions, nor did they push any thoughts or any kind of pressure upon me. They all was very sincere. I would recommend going there for any of your feminine needs or concerns. The major plus is that its free of charge.

This is not a medical facility. It’s a pro life org that claims to be a clinic bc they do ultrasounds (not by medical professionals) and pregnancy tests. They do not offer morning after pills, info about abortion or birth control, or any women’s health care. Only come here if you want to be pressured into carrying a pregnancy to term. Also they aim to stall you until it’s too late to get the morning after pill; which you can get less than a mile away at CVS.

FALSE ADVERTISING: NOT AN ABORTION CLINIC This is a pro life Christian activist center with no health care staff employed. Dont be fooled by the white coats. They wont talk about all your options and refuse to help you find an abortion if thats what you choose. They want to guilt trip you into keeping an unwanted pregnancy. If you know you want to keep your pregnancy, go ahead and use them for the free stuff.

This is not a comprehensive reproductive health care clinic, and you will not receive quality care if you come here. This is a crisis pregnancy center, in other words a religious non-profit, and their primary mission is not to give you all the information and resources you need to make an informed decision about your pregnancy. Instead, their mission is to share the compassion, hope, and help of Jesus Christ — both in word and deed — with those facing pregnancy decisions” by using predatory business tactics.In addition to all of this this crisis pregnancy center does not provide nor recommend contraceptives to single women or married couples. Instead, married couples are offered counseling.

Incredible medical facility that will help women that need a pregnancy ultrasound or need STI testing or treatment. The staff is incredible and youll feel their compassion and love when you attend.

I had such a great experience with Valley Women’s Clinic. Very professional and kind doctors and advocates. They give you tons of very useful information regarding why you are there. Highly recommend!

Beware this clinic is trying to convince women to keep their pregnancies. There is a reason why they stationed themselves next to the now closed planned Parenthood. You can easily tell by reading through the material on their website as they use terms such as baby to describe a fetus and have false information on the types of abortions and the terms in which they are performed.

This place is great! Theyre helpful, professional and empowering; I cant recommend them enough to someone who is pregnant and feeling overwhelmed and hopeless. They provide great services and are there to listen!

This clinic is not a good choice if you are looking for abortion care. They push their religious agenda on you and will not give you real contraceptive options for women seeking to not have a pregnancy. They are not a real clinic. Do not come here

A wonderful place that truly cares for the moms, dads and babies. They offer parental support, counseling, help, advice, guidance, care and postnatal support. Those are things you won’t find at planned parenthood.

Very helpful staff. They offer ultrasounds and STD testing along with other help and support for mother and father. Would recommend to anyone.

This place is not a real medical facility. While they offer free pregnancy tests and support for those choosing to keep their pregnancies, they provide false information and emotional tactics to manipulate those wishing to terminate their pregnancy into changing their minds.
